  • Recessed linear lights refer to any fixture embedded into a surface, such as a ceiling, wall or floor. The recessed light is favored for aesthetic appeal and the ability to integrate into the architectural design
  • Strip lights can refer to recessed lighting, but may also refer to products known as tape lights. Tape lights are generally not recessed, mounting to a surface, such as underneath a cabinet. The strip light may also be flexible, allowing light to bend around corners
  • Channel lights offer the flexibility of tape lights embedded into a channel. The channel may include diffusers to soften light, eliminate hotspots and yield better heat management
